My Lucy Art Work
I Love Lucy! And that's no secret! Since around the age of thirteen, fourteen, I began to escape into the world of the Ricardo's and Mertzes by watching and falling in love with the TV show "I love Lucy". From the very first time I watched the show, I began then to draw Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel non stop! I loved drawing the characters and the situations of the show because it all seemed so magical, creative, and different.
As time went by, I began to use Lucy as the subject for many-a-school art projects and began to decorate that "Lucy" image with doodles and quick sketches of her in my sketchbooks. I always found Lucy's face to be appealing because of its ability to show a depth of character and wacky expression and yet obtain such a beauty and sophistication, making her a gorgeous clown.
In 2011, I took my love for Lucy, the Lucy art I've collected over the years as well as the Lucy art I've created, and put it all into one big blog called
"The Lucy Art Blog"- which has allowed me to dive into and explore drawing that lovable red head in so many different ways to share with other Lucy fans and art enthusiasts- Here, you'll see just a few pieces I've created of that well known Queen of comedy! I hope you enjoy! and to see more-visit "The Lucy Art Blog"
